Burnett, Estefan team for mobile media production

Latin music producer Emilio Estefan has joined with TV titan Mark Burnett to create a production company focused on developing multimedia content--including mobile--targeted at the Latin American community. The venture, called Estefan/Burnett Entertainment, will produce content for not only mobile devices, but also the Internet and broadcast networks, in some cases integrating all three. The Latin American demographic segment is a voracious mobile media consumer, over indexing far above the average. It's this kind of targeted marketing and content creation that's needed to goose the popularity of mobile content.
