Buzzwire intros community-driven mobile website

Tools

Mobile web and video services provider Buzzwire announced the launch of m.buzzwire.com, promising an editorially-directed, community-driven mobile website enabling users to more efficiently discover, experience and share content. According to Buzzwire, the mobile site offers advertisers, publishers and carriers a new channel to build brands, increase site traffic and drive revenue from new services by eliminating the hassles from browsing the web, instead offering a dedicated mobile site stuffed with popular content as determined by user contributions and feedback.

Buzzwire publisher partners including TV Guide will incorporate a "Buzzie" button on their mobile sites, enabling users to post and share their favorite mobile content to the m.buzzwire.com site--users can also contribute content to m.buzzwire.com by sending a link via email or text shortcode. In conjunction with the m.buzzwire.com effort, Buzzwire announced an exclusive sponsorship deal with Deutsch Inc.--a range of Deutsch clients including DirecTV, Kodak, Under Armour and the Michael J. Fox Foundation will have exclusive advertising rights to m.buzzwire.com during its beta launch.
