Buzzwire scores $8 million in Series B

Mobile media service provider Buzzwire announced the close of an $8 million Series B financing round led by new investor Sequel Venture Partners--existing investors Matrix Partners and Spark Capital also participated. According to Buzzwire--which provides streaming online audio, video and radio to mobile devices--the funding will enable the firm to transition from planning and testing to deployments with carriers in the U.S. and abroad.
