Cardinal, SafeNet team for mobile TV solution

Digital broadcasting solutions provider Cardinal Systems and digital rights management solutions developer SafeNet announced an integrated mobile TV security solution combining Cardinal's Playout broadcasting platform with SafeNet's DRM Fusion Toolkit4TV. The solution promises end users access to on-demand mobile broadcast content while guaranteeing rights and revenue for content owners. "The addition of robust protection from SafeNet to our mobile TV server completes our offering," said Cardinal marketing director Joakim Heino in a prepared statement. "We are really proud to be first to market with this solution."
