Cash Money teams with m-Wise for mobile fan club
Mobile content technology provider m-Wise announced an agreement with Universal Motown Records' Cash Money subsidiary to launch a mobile fan club subscription service touting hip-hop acts including the great Lil Wayne, Birdman and Hot Boys. Cash Money Mobile will deliver fans exclusive online and mobile content like ringtones, graphics, video clips, trivia, weekly contests and text alerts--subscribers may also win VIP concert tickets and autographed memorabilia. Cash Money and m-Wise will offer the service via various channels including on-deck operator portals, a web portal and text messages--carriers including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile USA and Alltel have already signed on.
