CBS, Clear Channel team up with MSpot for radio
As I wrote about last week, CBS is looking for ways to beef up its radio offerings since the departure of Howard Stern this year and mobile is the way they're doing it. CBS and Clear Channel have signed a deal with MSpot to make several sports radio programs available on mobile phones. The stations will be available to Sprint subscribers with MSpot-compatible phones for $5.95 a month. The service aims to allow travelers looking to follow their hometown sports team while on the road.
