CBS Mobile teams with GameHouse on 'NCIS' game for iPhone
CBS Mobile launched NCIS: The Game from the TV Show, a new mobile title developed and published by GameHouse for Apple's (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Based on the popular CBS police procedural, NCIS: The Game from the TV Show offers fans five different crimes to solve, all created in conjunction with the series' production staff--players can search crimes scenes, collect forensic evidence, examine lab results and interact with characters to obtain information. Crime scenes also feature multiple mini-games and puzzles. NCIS: The Game from the TV Show is available from Apple's App Store for $4.99 for the iPhone and iPod touch, and $5.99 for the iPad--the game is also available for download via major mobile operator decks.
CBS premiered NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service in 2003--the series follows a fictional team of special agents solving felonies tied to the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. NCIS ended its 2009-10 season ranked as Nielsen's fourth highest-rated U.S. primetime series, which is remarkable given that no one will actually admit to watching the show.
