Celltick launches mobile-marketing platform
Celltick launched a mobile-marketing service called LiveScreen Media that enables companies to buy advertising space on a user's idle mobile phone screen. The new service runs on the company's LiveScreen platform, which is already in use by carriers to alert users of software upgrades and new content. The service certainly would make it more likely for a user to buy content, since they are propositioned with teasers on a regular basis; however, getting users to opt-in will prove trying.
