ChaCha.me social platform goes mobile

Tools

Question and answer service ChaCha announced its fledgling ChaCha.me social networking platform is now accessible via mobile devices, enabling users to submit and respond to queries from their phones and see their activities posted across social services like Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr. In addition, users can receive instant SMS or email alerts when a question is asked of them. According to ChaCha, the new functionality enables users like businesses and celebrities to create dynamic, real-time FAQ capabilities for followers and fans. ChaCha adds that forthcoming ChaCha.me upgrades will enable users to search other members by demographic, including location, gender and age--in addition, the platform will add a real-time "What are you doing now?" feature.
