Charlie Brown goes mobile
Good grief--"Peanuts" is coming to mobile. United Media, the syndicate that owns the distribution rights to the late Charles M. Schulz's beloved comic strip, announced an agreement to produce images, video clips and games for availability via service provider Mobile Streams' Vuesia content distribution platform. The deal provides Mobile Streams exclusive "Peanuts" rights in the Germany, Switzerland and Austria markets. "Snoopy and the 'Peanuts' gang are household names and their huge appeal spans all age groups," said Mobile Streams EVP Europe Martyn McGoun in a prepared statement.
