Chutes & Ladders: NBC hires George Kliavkoff
NBCU has lured away George Kliavkoff from Major League Baseball Advanced Media to take the role of chief digital officer. At MLB, Kliavkoff maintained partnerships with a variety of new media outlets, including major portals and wireless operators. He is tasked with boosting NBC's new media presence beyond downloadable content on iTunes to platforms such as mobile phones and more. He starts in September.
