CinemaNow partners with uVuMobile

Digital entertainment technology provider CinemaNow announced an agreement with mobile software and services firm uVuMobile to integrate their respective technologies and create a new WAP service enabling consumers to preview movie trailers and remotely download full-length movies to compatible consumer electronic devices via mobile handsets. Combining uVuMobile's Media Distribution Platform and CinemaNow's proprietary digital distribution technology, the CinemaNow WAP service features more than 10,000 movies, TV shows and music videos--users may purchase content from the WAP site for download to connected devices including PCs, digital television sets, portable media players, set-top boxes and network-attached storage devices.
