Cingular turns to enhanced wireless navigation

Today Cingular Wireless launched an enhanced version of its TeleNav GPS Navigator system, complete with 3D maps that turn, move and stop in accordance with the actions of the driver. TeleNav GPS Navigator also includes "along-the-route" searches, which seek out businesses, points of interest and gas prices on a predetermined course, as well as predictive address entry, which detects and automatically fills in address information based on current location. Other features: voice and onscreen turn-by-turn directions, Spot Marker (enabling users to easily find their vehicles in crowded parking lots and garages) and a pedestrian mode.
