ClearSky spins off Red Planet Media

Managed services and content provider ClearSky Mobile Media announced the spin-off of collaborative social network platform Red Planet Media. While ClearSky will remain focused on its portfolio of hosted mobile entertainment services, Red Planet Media is dedicated to the development and proliferation of collaborative social networks. "With the recent launch of its new ProTrends BI tool for mobile Internet traffic analysis, ClearSky has become ever more capable of helping carriers of all sizes build and maintain profitable mobile entertainment offerings," said Red Planet president and CEO Dean Fresonke.  "At the same time, the creativity within the ClearSky organization has spawned some profound new products that we believe will be best marketed by an organization dedicated to the task--thus was born Red Planet Media."
