Comcast tunes in iPhone application
Cable giant Comcast announced the debut of a free mobile application
optimized for Apple's iPhone, promising subscribers access to a host of communications, information and entertainment services. According to Comcast, the app includes a unified inbox with Comcast.net email, visual voice mail, address book sync, real-time TV listings and trailers of movies available via Comcast On Demand. Existing customers with a Comcast.net User ID can download the free app and immediately have live access to their Comcast inbox and address books, in addition to the full functionality of the provider's web-based SmartZone Communications Center service.
