Comedy Central draws up "South Park Mobile" app

Sweet. Comedy Central announced a mobile application based on its animated flagship "South Park." Developed in close association with series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the service will expand beyond the conventional menu of streaming video clips, ringtones and graphics to include fan message boards, production blogs and Q&A's, storyboard art and a "South Park" character creator that enables subscribers to design their own avatars for display on chat sessions and within their personal profiles. "South Park Mobile" also boasts a comprehensive episode guide encompassing video, plot summaries and premium content from every episode from all 10 seasons to date. Comedy Central did not say "Respect our authori-tie!" in a prepared statement, but they really should have.
