Comverse intros mobile data traffic management hub

Messaging and content services provider Comverse announced the introduction of Comverse Mobile Internet Hub, promising enhanced traffic management capabilities enabling operators to more effectively face challenges presented by surging mobile data usage. According to Comverse, the Mobile Internet Hub includes a Service Policy Management layer that creates rules for data traffic and enforces them in real time--for example, carriers can define tiered data plans to fit subscribers' respective lifestyles and needs, and set appropriate user notifications when necessary.
