DeviceAnywhere tapped for Windows Live for Mobile testing

Mobile application development solutions provider DeviceAnywhere announced Microsoft is now using its DeviceAnywhere Test Center SaaS platform to manage testing associated with pre-deployment processes and post-deployment support for the software giant's Windows Live for Mobile solution.  According to DeviceAnywhere, Test Center enables Microsoft to identify and solve issues that may be specific to an operator's network or suite of devices--Windows Live's deployment team now has remote access to more than 2,000 real devices, available across more than 30 global carriers and network providers. In addition, Microsoft can now reproduce reported issues using the same model of device on the same network, investigate and develop against specific devices and access services from various worldwide networks without incurring roaming charges.
