Digby rolls out location-based mobile marketing, commerce tools
Mobile commerce and engagement services provider Digby announced the launch of Localpoint, a new platform enabling brands to introduce location-based marketing, analytics and commerce solutions.
Localpoint enables brands to create geo-fences around their stores and other points of interest and embed those geo-fences into mobile applications. Digby technology measures app engagement and shopping-oriented events including geo-fence entries/exits, store visits and UPC/QR Code scans, leveraging traffic and conversion data to help brands deliver targeted, real-time messages. Consumers can complete purchase transactions either in-app or in-store.
In addition to analytics tools, the Localpoint platform includes outreach services enabling brands to drive consumers to specific locations via regional or local promotions, as well as venue-based solutions that trigger promotional offers and messages on entry, exit or during a shopper's in-store visit. Localpoint can be added to an existing branded app via the Digby SDK or integrated into new, Digby-developed apps.
Digby boasts partnerships with more than 50 retailers, including Bed Bath and Beyond, Cabela's, Toys "R" Us, The Home Depot, Wet Seal, Brooks Brothers, Golfsmith and Orvis.
