Discretix announces $20M financing round
Still more CES news: Mobile device and flash memory security solutions developer Discretix announced it raised $20 million in third-round financing, bringing the firm's overall venture funding total to $29.8 million. All current Discretix investors participated in the latest round, which was led by a new investor, Silicon Valley VC Sequoia Capital. Discretix said it will earmark the funding to develop new content protection solutions for the mobile consumer and enterprise markets. "We welcome the new support for our business activities from Sequoia Capital, not only for the funds it provides but also as an inflection point for our initiatives in the mobile content space," said Discretix CEO and founder Gal Saloman in a prepared statement.
