Disney halts UK MVNO launch

Could Disney's mobile plans for the UK go the way of EuroDisney? Mickey Mouse & Co. is postponing the U.K. launch of its family-oriented MVNO service. The original plan was to have the service up and running by the holiday season, piggybacking on the O2 network. The company cited a "difficult retail environment" as one reason behind the delay. Additionally, consumer groups in the country have been protesting plans to market mobile phone services to young adults.
