dotMobi enhances Instant Mobilizer

Mobile web domain registry dotMobi announced a series of improvements to its Instant Mobilizer software product, which promises to automatically optimize small businesses' existing website assets for the mobile platform. According to dotMobi, Instant Mobilizer now boasts a vCard feature that enables site visitors to save a firm's phone and address directly into their contacts as well as a RSS feature that makes news feeds on a company's PC-based site accessible via a link on the mobile site.

In addition, dotMobi notes that the list of registrars offering the Instant Mobilizer service has grown to include Name.com and Moniker in the U.S. and Directi in India--launches are said to be imminent via China-based Beijing Innovative, HiChina Web Solutions and Xin Net as well as Russia's Ru-Center. dotMobi adds that Instant Mobilizer is now available to more than 80 percent of current .mobi domain owners.
