EA grabs Hands-On Mobile's Korean unit

Interactive entertainment software giant Electronic Arts announced an agreement to acquire the assets of mobile developer and publisher Hands-On Mobile Korea. Financial terms were not disclosed. A subsidiary of U.S.-based connected games and applications developer Hands-On Mobile, the firm is best known for its mobile role-playing title Heroes Lore; according to EA Mobile, the deal is central to its Asian development and publishing growth outlook. Following completion of the deal, the Hands-On Mobile Korea unit will be renamed EA Mobile Korea, and will work within the management structure of the existing EA Mobile Asia Publishing organization.
