EA Mobile launches 'Tetris POP'

Mobile gaming developer and publisher EA Mobile announced the debut of Tetris POP, the latest addition to the best-selling franchise. According to EA Mobile, Tetris POP boasts 17 new variations of the signature Tetris formula, each with its own challenge--for example, players may trigger bombs in Detonator, make electrical connections in Circuit, or play the classic game via Vanilla. TetrisPOP also offers three new gameplay modes: In POP mode, players encounter 22 levels of mayhem across eight different environments; in POP Chrono mode, players select their desired play time, with the game customizing a play session to fit the time available; and in POP Mix mode, players may customize their gameplay by selecting favorite variations from the available playlist. EA Mobile notes that Tetris has so far generated 55 million downloads worldwide.
