Eidos Interactive acquires Morpheme
Entertainment software publisher Eidos Interactive announced its acquisition of mobile and casual games developer Morpheme Wireless Limited. Financial terms were not disclosed, although Eidos said it will add Morpheme's assets and eight staffers to its New Media division. The two companies previously collaborated when Morpheme developed mobile versions of Eidos' action franchise "Hitman" and "Prism: Light the Way." In February, Eidos acquired mobile developer Rockpool Games and its affiliates Ironstone Partners and SoGoPlay; last month, the company also scooped up online distribution firm Bluefish Media.
