EMI, Nokia ink marketing deal
Holy cow, there's even more from CTIA: EMI Music announced a marketing and content agreement with Nokia to feature the label's acts on the handset giant's music-enabled devices and select consumer websites. The deal also enables consumers to score free downloads, wallpapers, videos and ringtones and more from EMI featured artists via Nokia in-store demos. "Nokia is about much more than just manufacturing phones--Nokia is about connecting people, and nothing brings people closer together than music and conversation," said Nokia senior VP of marketing Jo Harlow in a prepared statement. "It's only natural that leading companies like EMI and Nokia would combine their respective expertise in much the same way, making mobile music more accessible to people via a new and innovative joint marketing program."
