End2End acquires Terraplay
Mobile data managed solutions provider End2End announced its acquisition of connected gaming services provider Terraplay. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to End2End, the Terraplay acquisition enables the company to offer operators a fully-managed mobile gaming offering alongside its full mobile content delivery platform, emphasizing community tools, multiplayer functionality, in-game micro billing and in-game advertising. "Connected gaming can transform the experience for the gamer, with features such as multiplayer, competitions and buddy lists, but it can also have a major impact on operators, creating opportunities for flexible business models such as pay-per-play, rental and advertising," said End2End managing director Bernadette Lyons.
