Endemol, INgrooves partner for Tequila's shot

Reality entertainment producer Endemol and digital media distribution firm INgrooves announced a deal to launch the debut single by MySpace sensation Tila Tequila with a digital-only campaign highlighted by a music video available in the U.S. exclusively on Sprint's Power Vision platform. The Lil' Jon-produced "I Love U" is currently available for download exclusively through Apple's iTunes storefront; Endemol filmed Tequila's corresponding video clip expressly for the mobile platform, signing additional broadcast deals with international operators including Britain's O2 and the Netherlands' Vodafone. "What makes this partnership so significant is that it plugs fans directly into the artist in every possible way," Endemol's head of mobile TV and video Michiel de Gooijer said in a prepared statement. "We've already had international success working with the music industry and mobile operators on our 'Get Close To ...' format and this new deal represents another step forward in this area. Tila's video is tailor made for the small screen and is the kind of rich content that takes mobile entertainment to the next level."
