Ensequence lands $40M in Series C
Interactive video software developer Ensequence announced the completion of a $40 million Series C funding round. Ensequence's on-Q software enables advertisers and programmers to created enhanced interactive video content for distribution across mobile channels as well as televisions and PCs; customers include Disney, Major League Baseball Advanced Media, MTV and TV Guide.
According to Ensequence, the capital infusion will fund new offices in Los Angeles and New York as well as the completion of cable and satellite operator deployments. "Ensequence technology will change the way video is consumed, giving advertisers, programmers and operators new revenue opportunities by providing new ways to engage their target audiences with multi-platform interactive video," said Ensequence chairman Bernee Strom in a prepared statement.
