ESPN, New York Times mobile sites win Webbys

The 12th Annual Webby Awards, presented by the 550-member International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, announced winners in seven categories honoring the mobile web. ESPN.com won both a Webby Award and a Webby People's Voice Award in the Mobile Sports category, while The New York Times won in the News and Listing & Updates categories. Other winners include the NBC television hit Heroes (Mobile Entertainment), Chase SMS Banking (Mobile Marketplace & Services), Nike 10R (Gaming) and Zannel (Social Networking). Winners will be honored at the 12th Annual Webby Awards Gala in New York City on June 10, hosted by Saturday Night Live's Seth Meyers.
