Exit enters mobile ad agreement with Amobee

Mobile entertainment software provider Exit Games announced an in-game advertising partnership with ad solutions developer Amobee Media Systems. The two companies will collaborate on contextual and targeted opt-in advertising impressions for Java and BREW-based titles, integrating Exit Games' Neutron multiplayer gaming solution with Amobee's HAPI handset programming interface to condition a game to accept ad content.

"Ad-funding has the potential to revolutionize the mobile gaming industry," said Amobee SVP and GM Roger Wood in a prepared statement. "However, consumer acceptance is the key to success and we firmly believe that the subscriber must see a concrete benefit in terms of the cost and quality of mobile content. This partnership with Exit Games benefits the whole mobile ecosystem, providing a new advertising channel for brands, new revenue opportunities for carriers and content publishers, and a highly desirable price point for consumers."
