Female mobile gamers to outnumber males
The Wireless World Forum says the $1.6 billion mobile gaming industry is starting to slow down because the sector has yet to focus on target audiences beyond young-male core gamers. The Forum suggests middle-aged females as the next big growth area. The group even suggests that female mobile gamers will outnumber males for the first time this year.
