Jason AnkenyWelcome to 2011. It's a new year, and you know what that means: Everyone's making resolutions... and it seems like everyone's making predictions, too. Looking back at my 2010 forecast, most of my predictions stuck the landing: As expected, mobile commerce flourished, mobile TV faltered and tablets galvanized new mobile software breakthroughs. It was the year Android exploded and BlackBerry eroded--Apple launched iPad and iAd, and location-enabled services checked in to the mainstream. And as we all predicted, it was never boring.

What's ahead in the 12 months to come? Think mobile payments, major acquisitions and new app stores. There's no such thing as a sure thing, of course, but this much I guarantee: 2011 isn't going to be boring, either.
