Firefox for Android update adds Do Not Track privacy feature
Open-source software development initiative Mozilla introduced the latest beta version of its Firefox for Android mobile browser, incorporating a new Do Not Track HTTP header promising consumers greater control over their data by giving them the flexibility to opt out of behavioral ads.

Introduced earlier this year for Firefox's desktop incarnation, the Do Not Track tool signals to all web pages, images and advertisements that the user does not wish to be tracked.
Mozilla introduced Firefox 4 for Android in late March. Built on the same technology platform as Mozilla's desktop browser, Firefox 4 for Android touts speeds up to three times greater than the stock Android browser and promises enhancements like faster scrolling, improved responsiveness with Firefox Sync (which offers a seamless experience between the desktop and smartphone) and other user experience upgrades. Firefox 4 for Android also offers thousands of Add-ons to enable users to further customize their mobile web experience.
