Fox Soccer Channel kicks off mobile text alerts

Cable network Fox Soccer Channel announced an agreement with mobile marketing solutions provider 2ergo to offer soccer fans weekly text alerts touting programming alerts and match information. Powered by 2ergo's mobile messaging manager, the alert service will encourage viewers to tune in to Fox Soccer Channel programming including England's Barclays Premier League, Italy's Serie A, Major League Soccer, Women's Professional Soccer and international tournaments including the FA Cup and CONCACAF Champions League. The alert service is now available through operators including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile USA, US Cellular and Virgin Mobile USA.
