FusionOne scores $6 million in venture financing

Premium mobile content backup services developer FusionOne announced the completion of a $6 million Series A-1 preferred stock round funded by El Dorado Ventures, Nokia Ventures and Vesbridge Partners. FusionOne's turnkey services include mobile phone backup and restore, an address book solution that automatically updates itself, and advanced wireless synchronization promising smartphone-quality functionality regardless of handset model. Operator partners include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Alltel Wireless and NTT DoCoMo.
