Gameloft, Sprint team for buy one, get one free game deal

Mobile game publisher Gameloft is partnering with Sprint (NYSE:S) to offer "Buy One, Get One Free" Android HD titles to subscribers with HTC Evo and Samsung Epic smartphones. According to Gameloft, the promotion will run through the holidays--to capitalize on the deal, consumers must visit the Sprint Zone portal and click through to the publisher's app. Featured games include Assassin's Creed-Altaïr's Chronicles HD, N.O.V.A. Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance HD and Asphalt 5 HD.

Earlier this year, Gameloft announced that consumers have downloaded more than 20 million of its titles via Apple's (NASDAQ:AAPL) App Store since the digital storefront opened in July 2008. Gameloft has so far developed and published more than 100 games for Apple's iOS platform.
