Mobile game publisher Glu Mobile announced an expanded partnership with Activision Publishing that will yield four new titles in the remaining half of 2009, including Guitar Hero 5--previous mobile titles in the popular Guitar Hero series were developed by rival Hands-On Mobile. According to Glu, it will release Guitar Hero 5 sometime in the fourth quarter, along with Blur and Tony Hawk: Ride. The new Activision deal will commence with the Q3 release of Crash Mutant Island. All four titles will be available for operators and application storefronts that support Android, BlackBerry, BREW, J2ME and Windows Mobile--iPhone rights are not included in the Glu/Activision agreement.
