Glu Mobile's 'Glyder' takes off on iPhone

Games publisher Glu Mobile announced the launch of Glyder, an original title developed for Apple's iPhone and iPod touch. According to Glu, Glyder enables players to pilot a hang glider as she soars through 3D environments to collect crystals, earn achievements and complete trips--the casual game exploits the iPhone's accelerometer to emulate gliding maneuvers. Glu will launch Glyder at an introductory App Store price of $1.99.
