Google adds multiple sign-ins and preferences to Gmail for mobile

Tools

Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) introduced a series of features optimized for its browser-based Gmail for mobile, promising users new tools to make them productive on the go.

Gmail multiple sign-in mobile

Gmail for mobile now supports multiple sign-ins.

Like the desktop version of the messaging platform, Gmail for mobile now supports multiple sign-ins, enabling users to toggle between different accounts.

Users may also create a mobile-specific signature, letting contacts know they're responding via mobile device (thereby explaining away misspellings, unintended autocorrect changes and other syntax issues).

The Gmail for mobile update also introduces a vacation auto-responder feature. Users may now set out-of-office replies via the mobile interface, choosing a start and end date and specifying a message the same way they would on the desktop.
