Google adds Street Maps to Maps for Mobile
Google announced a new version of its location-based Google Maps for Mobile application, which now incorporates the web services giant's Street Maps imaging effort. According to Google, the street-level mapping service will enable Google Maps for Mobile users to see a location, read comments and learn how to reach the destination on foot. The enhanced Maps for Mobile app is now available across the BlackBerry platform and on many Java-enabled phones.
