Google Product Search expands to all web-enabled phones

Tools

A few months after introducing its Product Search service for the iPhone and Android platforms, Google announced the shopper application is now available across all web-enabled mobile devices in the U.S., the U.K., Germany and South Korea. Google Product Search for mobile promises users information on prices, ratings, reviews and product details collected from across the web--according to Google, the app delivers users the same product information available on the desktop, complete with dedicated product pages for categories like electronics and video games, including ratings charts and technical specifications.

For iPhone, Android and Palm Pre users in the U.S., Google has also added Google Suggest to the Product Search homepage and results pages--the new feature recommends queries as consumers type, simplifying the search process.
