GPShopper locates Series A financing

Location-based mobile commerce service provider GPShopper announced the completion of a Series A financing round led by investment firm Allen & Company. Terms of the investment were not disclosed. GPShopper markets its mobile product search solution directly to consumers via the Slifter brand--a GPS-enabled version is currently available to Sprint subscribers.
