Groove Mobile intros music video service
Mobile music commerce platform developer Groove Mobile announced the addition of music videos to services currently available via British mobile operator 3. In addition to over the air downloads, the video service will also enable subscribers to download to PCs higher-quality WMV file versions of videos originally purchased on their wireless handsets. According to Groove Mobile, the service will launch with 1,000 videos, including content from major labels Universal Music Group, EMI Music, Warner Music Group and Sony BMG, as well as clips from independent labels; to facilitate music discovery and cross-selling opportunities, Groove will offer unique song pages with access to related audio and video content. Price per video download: £1.49.
