'Guitar Hero World Tour Mobile' expands to Android

Mobile games and applications developer Hands-On Mobile announced its popular Guitar Hero World Tour Mobile title is now available via Google's Android Market virtual application storefront. The Android incarnation of Guitar Hero World Tour Mobile promises enhanced graphics and features--Hands-On notes the game will exploit the operating system's accelerometer for "star power," offering gamers a faster and easier user experience. All songs featured on the game are in MP3 format and are automatically saved on the Android device's SD card, enabling more efficient access to playable songs.

According to Hands-On, Guitar Hero World Tour Mobile is now available across all major U.S. mobile phone platforms and has exceeded the 500,000 download benchmark since launching in November.
