Hands on Mobile acquires Thumbspeed
According to a report in John Cook's Venture Blog, mobile content company Hands-On Mobile, formerly Mforma, has scooped up Bellevue, WA-based Thumbspeed. The company develops mobile email, instant messaging and a product that allows users to post camera phone pics to blogs. Neither company disclosed financial details of the deal. Thumbspeed is headed by former InfoSpace executive Hank Skorny. Last summer Hands-On Mobile acquired eight wireless companies.
