Hipcricket extends mobile ad campaigns to Facebook
Mobile marketing firm Hipcricket introduced its HIP 7.0 software-as-a-service platform, promising clients the tools to extend their mobile campaign reach to Facebook. HIP 7.0 includes Hipcricket's SocialConnect solution, enabling advertisers to capture multiple levels of Facebook fan opt-in data including email addresses, mobile phone numbers and locations--Hipcricket adds that SocialConnect also integrates seamlessly into the company's existing mobile and email databases, translating to reduced customer acquisition costs. Also featured: HIP CRMXchange, which integrates with a range of analytics, CRM and marketing resources management services, enabling clients to build and run campaigns tied to their existing loyalty programs, as well as SmartXchange, a conversational SMS campaign tool that analyzes conversations and actions that users had with the platform over time. Hipcricket adds that HIP 7.0 integrates with marketing solutions spanning from image recognition technology to QR barcodes.
Hipcricket notes that the HIP platform has now powered over 80,000 nationwide and hyper-local mobile marketing campaigns, for clients including MillerCoors, Macy's, Arby's and Nestle. Brands currently leveraging the SocialConnect service include Clear Channel-owned radio station KIIS in Los Angeles, which is integrating its mobile efforts with Facebook page counting more than 30,000.
