HipCricket, Trump encourage SMS marketing
Last night's episode of The Apprentice reportedly featured a task by the aspiring business moguls to encourage people on the street to send SMS messages to Gillette for a promotional giveaway of a razor. Both teams used HipCricket's proprietary mobile marketing technology to initiate, manage, track and reply to text messages sent to the teams from everyday people. The show basically served as a watered down Mobile Marketing 101 with HipCricket at the center of it all. Now that's some clever marketing.
