ICO adds Cartoon Network content to mobile video trial
Satellite communications firm ICO Global Communications announced an agreement with Turner Broadcasting System to include content from Turner's Cartoon Network and Adult Swim in alpha trials of its ICO mim mobile interactive media service. ICO mim--a mobile video, navigation and emergency assistance service launched in April--will initiate trials in the Raleigh-Durham and Las Vegas markets later this summer. Additional content partners include NBC Universal and Discovery Networks, with ICO promising a broad mix of news, entertainment, sports and family-friendly content.
