India testing mobile banking services

Add India to the lineup of countries testing out mobile banking and transaction services. The Reserve Bank of India has initiated a test of such services with the country's main banking technology group in an effort to determine the utility and safety of legal payments via mobile phones. Banks worldwide are at once interested and extremely wary of wireless payment systems due to a bevy of security and privacy concerns.
